Your skill & knowledge
•Preparation of drawings, based on input of the Project Engineer. And this in accordance with applicable specifications and data sheets.
•Communication with the Project Engineer to discuss about the design. The main mechanical design is carried out by the project engineer and handed over to the Draftsman. Detailed design is worked out by the draftsman.
•Preparation of detailed fabrication drawing. Based on those detailed fabrication drawings (e.g. .dxf files) Cam programs will be prepared by the CAM programmer for every fabrication part.
•Preparation of the Bill of Materials in the ERP system. Close communication with the project engineer is required to apply the correct material specifications.
•Close communication within the team of Cad-draftsmen to familiarize with and further develop the Coek CAD standards.
•Whenever required, contact with the shop floor operators, to discuss about production capacities, production sequences…
•Majority of drawings are prepared in 2D (Autocad). For some applications, 3D modelling is also required. (3D Autocad, Inventor, Solidworks)
