Maintenance Technician (F/X/M)
What you're going to do
While respecting safety procedures, resolve technical malfunctions so that loading, unloading and storage operations are not compromised.
The technical operator is also responsible for performing inspections and checks on the installations with a view to preventing technical malfunctions (incl. small repairs, as agreed).
Perform mechanical and electrical repairs in case of acute malfunctions.
Investigate self-reported malfunctions or those reported by control room or shift supervisor, analyse based on schematics or SCADA, identify the cause and repair if possible.
Repairs to include:
- conveyor belts
- chain conveyers
- screw conveyors
- dust extractors / dust filters
- mechanical flow diverters
- loading and unloading equipment (crane, pneumatic unloaders, loading towers)
- weighing bunkers
In view of repair, disassembly, cleaning and assembly of installation parts should also be done.
Conduct checks and inspections on facilities and buildings (non-exhaustive list):
-conveyor belts
-mechanical flow diverters
-dust filters
-grids
-...
Perform small various installation repairs
Support operations with:
- Automated bridge scraper/stacker
- operate trippers
- cleaning magnets, …
-...
Reporting :
- Reporting back to shift supervisor the acute repair work performed
- input of the repairs and preventive maintenance checks carried out into the CMMS package (Ultimo)
- Input of notifications of malfunctions into the CMMS package (Ultimo)
Lock out tag out on installations according to permit
