What you're going to do

  • Perform conversions in consultation with the senior mould exchanger.
  • Providing technical assistance to the production technicians and Technical supervisor.
  • Responsible for the general cleanliness of the machines after conversion or intervention. Carefully storing and maintaining working equipment.
  • Under the guidance of the senior mold exchanger, ensure correct completion of fill-in documents.
  • Starting up and optimising the production process (cycle and downtime) with feedback to Production supervisor and production technicians.
  • Working on continuous improvement of the production equipment (machines, IML installations, cooling, automation, etc.) to develop the most efficient and cost-effective equipment possible.
  • Solve product technical problems; burr, incomplete, dents, IML.
  • Solving technical problems, mechanical, pneumatic, electrical and hydraulic (basic knowledge).
  • Preventive polishing of ejector rings.
  • Contribute to order and cleanliness in the production area.
  • Helping the re-builder if time permits.
  • Preventively checking the weighing cells of the colouring machines.
  • Fitting new PET rolls at the thermo machine and replacing full big baggies.
  • Reporting production problems via the ticket system.
  • Independently performing material and colour changes.
  • Operating an overhead crane and driving a forklift truck

Your skill & knowledge

  • Technical degree (preferably Bachelor/Master) and experience as a Mould Technician.
  • Knowledge of general operating procedures within the company, specifically regarding food safety.
  • Technical knowledge of injection moulding machines, injection moulding process. 
  • knowledge of IML technology (in mould labeling) = very important!!!
  • Technical knowledge to perform mould and machine checks.
  • General knowledge of hydraulics, mechanics and electronics. 
  • Sufficient English language skills to communicate with various external partners.
  • Able to communicate clearly and correctly.
  • Be stress-resistant.
