Technician (meat) F/X/M
What you're going to do
For our client, who manufactures innovative solutions in the field of meal components and additives for ready-made or frozen meals.
The company specializes in the development and manufacture of high-quality chilled (+2°C/+6°C) and frozen (IQF) products, including meat (pork, beef, veal, chicken, etc.).
Duties:
•Day-to-day troubleshooting of machinery and equipment on the production floor
•Diagnosis of the causes of mechanical, electrical and industrial automation failures
•Adjustment and calibration of machines (e.g. slicers, fillers, packers) in line with changing production
•Maintenance of technical records, including inspection and repair records
•Keeping an eye on stock levels, reporting material and spare parts needs
•Carrying out inspection, maintenance and preventive repairs of machinery, equipment and installations
•Supervising the technical condition of the plant premises and infrastructure
•Participation in the modernisation and optimisation of equipment operation,
•Cooperation with the production department and other maintenance technicians
•Carry out minor repair and installation work in the plant (e.g. replacement of valves, seals, minor electrical work)
• The average temperature in the company is 10°C, but the technician sometimes has to work in cold storage (around 0°C), freezers (around -22°C), and steam rooms (high temperatures).
• Repairs in the company, supervise the rooms supplying the company (ammonia-passing machines, water treatment plants, electrical and refrigeration systems).

Your skill & knowledge
•Relevant technical education or relevant experience
• Good knowledge of English (technical)
•Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals
•Willingness to work on two shifts (2 weeks morning shift – 6.00 – 14.00/1 week afternoon shift – 13.00 – 21.00)

Rate depending on experience: €20-€22 per hour gross + 10 % shift bonus + 7€ meal vouchers
