Truck Mechanic, Body Construction and Assembly
What you're going to do
- Passionate about technology and have technical insight and experience in construction & assembly
- A team player who can also work independently on large projects.
- Completed training as a welder and possess knowledge of:
- Hydraulics
- Strength of materials
- Material science
- Very good at reading technical drawings
- A hands-on mentality and pride in craftsmanship
Your skill & knowledge
- A higher education in automotive mechanics or equivalent experience
- Previous experience in a similar role as a truck mechanic.
- Good English knowledge.
- Knowledge of general or automotive mechanics, metalwork (welding), and basic electrical knowledge
- Team player but can also work independently
- Works accurately, are solution-oriented, and flexible to customer needs
- Experience with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Good knowledge of semi-automatic welding of components
- Connection of hydraulic systems (tippers, cranes and container systems)
- Hands-on mentality, flexibility, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
- Knowledge of strength of materials and material science.
- A hands-on mindset
