Truck Mechanic
What you're going to do
Responsibilities of the role:
- Responsible for maintenance and repairs of trucks and trailers.
- Execution of repairs on brakes, suspension systems, and pneumatic components.
- Diagnosis and repair of electronic and electrical issues.
- Servicing and repairing ABS and EBS braking systems.
- Preparing vehicles for technical inspection.
- Maintenance and repair of engines and gearboxes.
- Replacement of tires and repair of trailer tarpaulins.
- General maintenance of tools and workshop equipment, including lubrication services.
Brands:
- They are brand-independent and repair most European truck brands (DAF, Iveco, MAN, Mercedes-Benz, Renault, Scania, Volvo..)
Your skill & knowledge
- Possession of a technical degree in an electromechanical field or as a truck technician.
- Previous experience in a similar role as a truck mechanic.
- Experience with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Experience with ABS and EBS braking systems.
- Hands-on mentality, flexibility, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
- Own transport required to commute to the workplace.
