What you're going to do
Main Responsibilities
The Technical Sales Manager contributes annually to the development of a strategic sales plan, in consultation with management (including objectives, KPIs, segmentation, and action points). In addition, weekly consultations and monthly reporting will be required.
Building and expanding a proactive and sustainable network of customers, prospects, partners (suppliers, machine builders, ...)
In most projects, the Technical Sales Manager will act as coordinator between customers, engineering offices, partners, suppliers, and the Revimaxx team.
You continuously monitor the market and trends and also share these internally. You pay attention to developments in technologies, relationships between customers/partners, subcontracting, opportunities, ...
You are open to and contribute to active marketing support, social media communication, participation in trade fairs, training sessions, ...
In this role, a combination of technical/mechanical expertise and a sense for economic reality is necessary. This may have been built through experience, interest, education... or perhaps through a combination of these.
Your skill & knowledge
- Industrial Engineer, Civil Engineer, or equivalent through experience
- Initial technical sales and/or consultancy experience (with technical expertise) and demonstrable results are a must, with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
- You have a strong affinity with the machine construction sector and are passionate about the mechanical possibilities of small and large machines/systems.
- Your commercial experience motivates you to independently evaluate opportunities and pursue them.
- You are conceptually strong and enjoy thinking together with the customer in a co-creative way to arrive at the best solution for their challenge.
- You are analytical and skilled with numbers in order to quickly determine margins and feasibility of projects. You have a sense for the economic reality of each project.
- You possess strong communication skills and communicate effectively with customers, partners, and the Revimaxx team. (knowledge of perfect English, and willingness to learn Dutch quickly)
- You have a natural ambition to grow and to support the growth of Revimaxx.
- You are results-oriented, loyal, flexible, and demonstrate strong perseverance.
- You hold a valid for wheel driving licence.
