Truck Mechanic
What you're going to do
- Preparing (heavy) commercial vehicles for transport of goods.
- Performing complex diagnostics and tasks (electricity, electronics, mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumatics).
- Independently repairing vehicles, including engines, drivetrains, brakes, and electrical systems.
- Carrying out maintenance and inspection tasks using established procedures.
- Performing assembly work for the installation and integration of accessories.
- Conducting periodic vehicle inspections.
- Calibrating tachographs.
- Performing specific tasks according to obtained certifications.
- Following safety instructions and regulations relevant to the role.
Your skill & knowledge
- An associate's or Bachelor's degree in Automotive or a related field with knowledge about vehicle systems, diagnostics, and repair techniques.
- Understanding vehicle specifications and requirements for transporting goods.
- Proficiency in diagnosing issues in electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to independently repair engines, drivetrains, brakes, and electrical systems.
- Expertise in performing routine maintenance and inspection tasks according to established procedures.
- Previous experience with FIAT and/or IVECO = very big plus!
